Experiment with a digital painting program that simulates real color and tools. I can't tell the difference between real images and digital images. Made a watercolor also to try to see what really is the difference with working digitally or on paper.
The eye is made with a simulated airbrush and the difference is that it is much faster to work. No color mixing and cutting of templates. On the other hand, it feels like I'm careless more when it's just to blur if something goes wrong.
Digital landscape
Digital oil paint and canvas. I have to admit that the color is very well made and the palette knife too. But the feeling itself is not quite the same as working with real colors. For example, you don't mess up. Oil paint gives a special feeling when using it, processing it and scratching it.
Watercolor
I did this to get some reference feeling.
Watercolor, pencil and chalk on paper. It is clear that working with real materials gives a completely different feeling when working with the different materials.
But the end result can't really be separated from ikke digital works.
The digital images were made with artrage http://www.artrage.com/
The watercolor was made with some stuff that lay and rubbed in the studio.
