I have made some software that created 3D citys from a random seed and new graphics cards and computers really started a revolution in gaming and virtual worlds.
I have always been a gamer. I wrote my first game on a Lambda 16. Z80 processor, 16k ram and a rubber keyboard that said pip everytime you pressed a key.
I love games and i always have. But i was not prepaird for the very new. Virtual worlds and Second life. It just blew me away completly. After my first half hour in Second life I had a account, some land and i lived more in SL the first year than in real life. I partyed ,created and made friends. It was great.
I am still in Second life and i am still creating stuff. If you want to know more you can check out my virtual game company at http://www.2worlds2go.com .
I make exhibitions in my gallery and more people or avatars see my work now than in real life.
I enjoy the creativ side of the new web 2.o and i am staying.
As computer was getting stronger i started to do experiments with writing graphics software.
Software that was using random dynamics to create pictures or 3D citys.
Graphics software was getting better and less expensiv so i made pictures from photographs, scanned and layerd.
I was working as a freelance programmer and web creator relly learning my trade as a computer artist and for a while I created databases and wrote the software that showed statistics in a nice graphic way. I liked it but wanted to go back to being a artist full time. So I did.
At the time Microsoft had a web system called activX i wrote a componenet that created new pictures everytime the page was opened.
I made many programs building on a random number to create something.
My company at the time was called Ultimate snowfall Design. I think it is the best company name i ever had but i also liked Cybernetic worlds and some other crazy companys i have owned.
I am still using some of the pictures i made as wallpapers on my computers.
I put some of them up in the download section.
I started early to try to get images and even video streams on the net. All my pictures was made with a old video camera The digital camera did not exsist yet.On Yahoo/Geocities i could stream my first performance. It was kind of cool. I made it in my living room.
Anna the true story.
Anna started out as a few pictures i needed for a painting. As i added more pictures i decided to do a project about here. Then the work expanded into video and performance.
Shes a cyber personality and pretty much live her life as she wants too on the web. I have tried to figure out what art can look like on the web. Maybe this is it. One way to work.

I used a very simple video camera and a digitizer to make pictures. No digital cameras yet they came 10 years later. The quality was ok for its time.
Pre 2000 multimedia project.
The pre 2000 Gallery is a CD-ROM. An art gallery where you can click your way around the gallery. Looking at paintings, photo, animations, video and listening to sound.
I didn't know what to do with the material i had compiled befor the year 2000 so i decided to put it all on a cd rom. It is about 550 mb of different art stuff.
I dont know if it is art. But it was a nice way and a very portable way to put the work. I did send it to gallerys and different companys.
Photo projects: the alternate personality.
I was working on a project with photographs of myself and i wanted to do some as a classic famme fatal. I still don't know if blonds have more fun. In any case the pictures was published on the net and many people logged in to the website. And the pictures got a lot of good comments.
I was happy beacause i thought people would be angry. But nobody was upset.
I made a lot of early html web pages. It was difficult to do multimedia because modem was the only way to connect to the internet.
bzzzz yiiiiiiiizapzapzap gooorgle goorgle::: connected
I will always remeber waiting for the modem to connect
and then there was a price for every minute.
The camera was installed in her bedrom at 12 am a Monday.
She didn´t see it until 2 months later.
We reagret to say that invading her privacy was not a god idee.
The funeral is tomorrow.
